Biological olive oil
The centuries-old hallmark of the Gabbiano farm is the production and direct sale of first-rate extra virgin olive oil.
Olive oil has indeed been for centuries the main product of this land and symbolizes the great tradition that is handed down with passion and that is still alive in Villa Gabbiano.
Extra virgin olive oil is solely made from the cold pressing of genuine biological olives, which are cultivated in the farm and handpicked. The physical, chemical and organoleptic properties of our olive oil are obtained in a strictly natural way thanks to the favourable climate and are proof of the absolute authenticity of the product. The very low acidity rate proves that olives are carefully and promptly pressed.
The main olive tree cultivar is Moraiolo together with Frantoio and Leccino. Our olive oil has been awarded as typical product the “DOP-Umbria sottozona Colli Assisi-Spoleto” protected designation of origin.
The extra virgin olive oil of the Villa Gabbiano farm is available in the following sizes:
